Directions by car:

FROM WEST ( FROM THE CAMBRIDGE DIRECTION)

Take the first Bury St Edmunds exit (Bury St Edmunds West) at Junction 42. At the roundabout turn left and follow signs to Risby and Crematorium. Follow this road for about 100 yards and then turn left onto small country road and the Crematorium is on the right. PLEASE DO NOT TAKE THE EARLIER EXIT TO RISBY AS YOU DO NOT NEED TO GO INTO THE VILLAGE, AND IT IS EASY TO GET LOST FROM HERE. IF YOU DO TAKE THIS EXIT IN ERROR, KEEP FOLLOWING SIGNS TO RISBY AND ONCE IN THE VILLAGE, GO PAST THE CROWN AND CASTLE PUB AND THEN TURN RIGHT AT THE VILLAGE MEMORIAL. KEEP DRIVING STRAIGHT - DO NOT DRIVE DOWN MERE LANE IN RISBY AS THIS IS A PRIVATE ROAD AND A NARROW TRACK - WE ARE SLIGHTLY FURTHER ON DOWN THAT ROAD ON THE LEFT.

FROM EAST (FROM THE IPSWICH DIRECTION)

Take the third, and the last, Bury St Edmunds exit (Bury St Edmunds West) at Junction 42. Follow the roundabout until you come to the last exit and come off here following signs to Risby and Crematorium. Follow this road for about 100 yards and then turn left onto small country road and the Crematorium is on the right

Directions by train/bus:

There is no direct or regular bus service unfortunately. But if travelling by train, arrive at Bury St Edmunds and then you will need to get a taxi to the crematorium. There are usually taxis outside the station - please allow around 15 minutes for this journey.
